Prior to the Black Queens' pivotal qualifier against Zambia, the Ministry of Youth and Sports has paid all bonuses that were due.
Joy Sports reports that all unpaid bonuses for the games from their previous three qualifiers have now been paid by the Ministry.
Bonuses were due to the Black Queens for matches played against Benin, Rwanda, and Namibia in the previous year.
Unrest over the unpaid incentives was reportedly present in the team's camp prior to the match versus Zambia.
A public clamour demanding remuneration for the Queens, who have been playing exceptionally well since Nora Hauptle became the team's head coach, also resulted from the development.
The team was visited on Wednesday night by Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku, Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif, and Gifty Oware-Mensah for a conversation. Following the visit, the team received their per diems before the incentives were subsequently paid.
Each of them received a cheque for GH85,000, or $7,500 at the Bank of Ghana rate.
