Kroos announced his retirement from international football.

Before Euro 2024, Toni Kroos, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has agreed to come out of retirement from international football.

After 11 years of service to the national team, Kroos announced his retirement from international football in 2021.

The 34-year-old, however, has made the decision to reverse it following fruitful discussions with national team coach Julian Nagelsmann.

"I'll be returning to the pitch for Germany in March. Why? Since the coach asked, and I'm game," Kroos stated in an Instagram post.

"I'm sure that much more is possible with the team at the European Championship than most people think right now."

He can now be chosen for the international friendlies against France and the Netherlands that take place next month.

Kroos is now probably going to play for Germany in their home nation during this summer's Euro 2024.

In the opening game of the competition on June 14, Germany will take on Scotland at the Allianz Arena in Munich to start their Euro 2024 campaign.

During his first tenure with the German national team, Kroos participated in 106 official games.

He was a member of the German teams that advanced to the World Cup 2010 semifinals, the Euro 2012 semifinals, the 2010 World Cup, and the 2014 World Cup winning squad.
